Who we are, and the woman behind the label

Our Creative Director and Founder, Rayna Hooper, has always felt like a citizen of the globe.

In 2009 she decided to launch Holiday Trading & Co, a collective of lifestyle labels, and take on a whirlwind life of international roaming. Drawing on her very successful design career in homewares, textiles, property development and visionary retail projects - the adventure was born.

In 2012, inspired by all the exceptional women in our world who are trying to balance their daily responsibilities and still feel beautiful, confident and supported, she introduced Brave+True as a winter component to the collective - which has since grown into the incredible brand we all know and love today.

Working alongside Rayna, is an incredibly creative and dedicated team, based through our Australian offices in Robe, Adelaide and Melbourne. Rayna spends her time creating and conjuring up new ideas which are thrown around and workshopped by her colleagues, all whilst traversing the world - from busy and colourful alleyways in China, to her quaint abode in France, to our city based Adelaide office and her coastal retreat, Robe in South Australia - all the while, keeping tabs on her three gorgeous children.
